\nSpend a day on the North Mayo Coastline around Downpatrick Head……. that’s just a few ideas for starters….<\/p>\n
\nThe location is wonderful in a peaceful, tranquil and rural setting very close to the beach and the Beach Bar and with great views of Knocknarea, which is a worthwhile climb or for a longer walk do the 15km walk which takes in the climb starting & finishing in Strandhill.
\nThe area is an ideal base for walking. We walked the Sligo Way over 3 days, starting in Lough Talt & finishing 73kms later in Dromahair. Beautiful & varying scenery all along the way. If 3 days is not for you any section of this way is breathtaking.
\nCloser to home is the Aughris Head\/Dunmoran Strand Walk, a gorgeous cliff walk.<\/p>\n
